WHY MANY DENOMINATIONS?

If we are all serving the same God, why then are there many denominations? The main reason is that the churches interpret the scriptures different from others. But the Bible says;

2 Peter 1:20 KJV

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

God is His own interpreter. When He says anything, He does not need anyone to explain what it means. For instance when He said 'let there be light,' the interpretation was that 'and there was light.' A virgin shall conceive a bare a son and she did and that is His interpretation. In this end time, He said it will be as it was in the days of Lot and that's exactly what we are seeing now- homosexuality on the increase. Many countries including America, Britain, France and New Zealand have voted to legalise homosexual marriage.

Unfortunately, the churches are giving meaning to God's word and thereby twisting or adding or taking away from it. And so we now see people explaining why women can preach even though the scriptures say no woman should be a priest. They sprinkle water on people instead of baptising them in water by immersing them, the Lord's Supper has now turned into breakfast. No wonder the Bible says;

Matthew 15:9 KJV

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

God's pure word has been replaced with creeds and dogmas making the Word of God of no effect.

Romans 3:4
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar


Galatians 1:8

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

2 Timothy 3:5 KJV

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

The warning here is that if we add or take away from God's Word, there is punishment for us.

Revelation 22:19 KJV

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

God is not interested in a denomination or a church. He is interested in the church, which is the universal body of Christ and they are the called out and separated ones. He is interested in the individual, you, who will separate himself/herself from every unbelief.

In this end time, He has been put out of the church and the Bible says He is standing at the door. But if you will hear His voice and open to Him, He will come in and dine with you.

Revelation 3:20 KJV

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Come Out of Her!

Revelation 18:4 KJV

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Remember that God will not judge you by which church you attended but by how you treat His word.

ARE YOU WASHED?

If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. (John 13:8)

The law on the sacrifice in the Old Testament demands that the sheep must be washed thoroughly before the sacrifice is done. For this reason, John being a prophet knew that the Lamb of God must be washed before the sacrifice is made. For that matter every sheep of God must be washed before God can accept that sacrifice. God will not accept that sacrifice if it is done any other way but a thorough washing. Because of this, Paul had to instruct the people to be re-baptised in order for God to accept their sacrifice. Until then, they could not receive the Holy Ghost.

If you want God to accept your sacrifice, then you must follow His laid down pattern.

Acts 19:1-7 KJV

[1] And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, [2] He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. [3] And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. [4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. [5] When they heard this , they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. [6] And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. [7] And all the men were about twelve.

From the above and from many other scriptures, we also realise that baptism was always done in the NAME Of The Lord Jesus Christ.

What about if you were just sprinkled upon to say you have been baptised?

Romans 6:3-6 KJV

[3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him , that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

DO ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:17 KJV)

WHERE DID THE NAME JESUS COME FROM?

The name Jesus was brought to Joseph from heaven.

²⁰ But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

1. BAPTISM

Jesus said:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Matthew 28:19 KJV)

Thus was Jesus' commission but the question is, why did the Apostles baptise in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38 KJV)

Do we ever see the Apostles throughout the Bible praying or casting out demon in any other name apart from the name Lord Jesus Christ?

It it Satan's weapon to make to add or take away from the Word. If he can succeed in twisting the Word by making you believe that Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the name of God instead of The Lord Jesus Christ, he has achieved his aim of making you powerless. Do you know what? At the mention of the name, EVERY KNEE shall bow. Demons, disease, and the whole kingdom of Satan trembles when you mention that name with faith.

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. (Acts 8:12 KJV)

For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 8:16 KJV)

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. (Acts 10:48 KJV)

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 19:5 KJV)

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (Romans 6:3 KJV)

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:27 KJV)

2. MIRACLES

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. (Acts 3:6 KJV)

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. (Acts 4:30 KJV)

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 14:14 KJV)

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17, 18 KJV)

3. PREACHING

And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him. (Acts 9:29 KJV)

And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. (Acts 4:18 KJV)

It has been the plan of the enemy to stop Christians from using the name of Jesus and it is still his strategy but this time, he has replaced the name with titles Father, Son and Holy Ghost and many Christians have ignorantly accepted it.

4. CASTING OUT DEMONS

And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. (Acts 16:18 KJV)

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11 KJV)

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 21:13 KJV)

5. GATHERING

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, (1 Corinthians 5:4 KJV)

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20)

6. GIVING THANKS

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; (Ephesians 5:20 KJV)

7. BELIEVE ON THE NAME

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. (1 John 3:23 KJV)

WILL JUDAS ISCARIOT GO TO HEAVEN?

Q. WILL JUDAS ISCARIOT GO TO HEAVEN?

Some are of the opinion that Judas will go to heaven and others think he will not. The answer is clear from the Bible.

A. Was Judas led by the Spirit when he betrayed Jesus? As many that are led by the Spirit, they are the sons of God.

And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?


Did Judas receive the Holy Spirit?
Unless a man be born again he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. Judas killed himself just before Pentecost.

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him , through whom they come!


The prophecy in Genesis was fulfilled in Judas' life.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.


John 17:12 (KJV)
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH

It pleased God so much that He uses the Spirit of Elijah 5 times in the Bible. 

1. Elijah himself

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. (1 Kings 17:1 KJV)

2. Elisha who had a double portion of the anointing

And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. (2 Kings 2:14 KJV)

And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. (2 Kings 2:15 KJV)

3. John the Baptist preparing the way for the Lord

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. (Matthew 17:12 KJV)

4. Elijah for the second coming of Jesus Christ

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord : (Malachi 4:5 KJV)

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. (Matthew 17:11 KJV)

And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. (Mark 9:12 KJV)

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7 KJV)

5. Elijah and Moses to Preach to Israelites after the Gentiles days are over

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. (Revelation 11:3, 6 KJV)

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7 KJV)

The following are some of the things associated with Spirit of Elijah:

1. Speaks against paganism

2. Likes the woods

3. Hates the spirit of Jezebel

4. Performs miracles including raising the dead

5. Has the spoken word power

6. Hates organised religion

7. Points people to God instead of organised religion

8. He comes when there is famine

9. Hated by the organised religion

10. Hates corrupt political systems

A. Every Tree Shall Produce According To His Kind

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:11, 12 KJV)

The Bible Does Not Say Cain Was Adam's Son.

Here is the generation of Adam.

And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

Cain was in the likeness of his father, the devil, the murderer. He could not nothing but to show the nature of his father. He was disrespectful to God when God asked him where was his brother Abel. His answer was, 'am I my brother's keeper?'

Luke 3:38 (KJV)

38Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

God does not make mistakes. If Cain was Adam's son and for that matter the first son, his name will be the first among his children to be listed in the Bible but not that of Seth.

The Bible Types Humans Beings To Trees

There are many verses from the Bible to prove this. Here are just a couple of those examples

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalms 1:3 KJV)

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. (Psalms 92:12 KJV)

From the fruit produced by Cain, it was clear that he was not Adam's son. 

Who Was Cain's Father Then?

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. (1 John 3:12 KJV)

Jesus Made It Clear That Cain Was The Devil

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44 KJV)

From the above passage, we know already that Cain was the first person to murder and Jesus says he is the devil or his father is the devil confirming what is said in 1 John 3:12 above. 

Jesus gave a parable to explain this.

²⁴Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

 ²⁵But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

 ²⁶But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

 ²⁷So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

 ²⁸He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

 ²⁹But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

 ³⁰Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

IS IT LIKE CHERRY-PICKING?

Can we pick and choose which part of the Word of God we want to believe and do away with the others? Can we say part of the Bible is not addressed to us but for some people in different generation? For instance, many Christians read the books of St. Paul and they are happy when he speaks about things like love, Holy Spirit, blessings and so on and they are happy to receive it. However, when he touches on issues like 'a woman should not preach in the church,' a man should not sleep with a man, then they say it's not for us but the people of Corinth? Why????

If we think some aspects of God's word do not apply to us, what makes us convinced that the others were addressed to us? For the same reason, some Christians also argue that the days of miracles are past and we don't need anything like speaking in tongues etc. because we are living in a different era. Where do all these come from? You will be the best person to guess- the old guy who was in the Garden of Eden, who made the Adam and Eve to disbelieve the Word of God. Satan, Serpent, the Beast who was more crafty than any other beast that the Lord God had made! 

Watch out! That guy uses the same old trick. His goal is to make you disbelieve part of God's Word and that is how he is taking your life from you. God richly bless you.

NOT ALL THAT USE THE NAME OF JESUS SHALL GO TO HEAVEN

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:21-27 KJV)

It is clear from the above passage that many ministers will be disappointed. Many so called miracle workers and prophets will also be disappointed. Even though they will use the name of Jesus to heal the sick, cast out demons prophesy etc., they will be rejected by the Lord Jesus Christ because they do not do His will. They interpret the Word of God to suit their own selfish ends and to satisfy their stomachs. They also follow the masses in order to gain popularity. BUT THE TRUTH OF IT IS THAT, NO TRUE MAN OF GOD IS POPULAR. Jesus, John, Paul, David, Elijah and the others were  not popular, but rather rejected by the world. Jesus said, they will hate you because they hated me. A servant is not greater than his master. 

Have you noticed how many people click like to your post on Facebook when you tell people the pure Word of God? Compare that to the number of likes for those who always say things like 'I can see the blessings of God coming your way etc.'

Any preacher who is popular is compromising the Word of God in order to gain popularity. The world cannot receive the Truth. In order for the world to accept you the preacher, you have to say the word of God the way they like it. Light has come into the world but people like darkness because their deeds are evil.

There is no doubt that many shall do wonders using the name of the Lord and yet they are not right with The Lord. Those preachers give people false hopes. They deny the Word of God in order to have many followers/church members. What God calls abomination, they say it does not matter, times have changed and we have to interpret the word to suit the time. They say that part of the Word was for those people but not us.

Remember Jesus did not deny that they did not do the miracles in His name. They will have the anointing to heal and do miracles and yet false. That is why the Bible call them false Christs (false anointed ones). So please don't be fooled by the miracles they do.

God has used me to heal the sick, cast out demons, and do other miracles but that is not what we major on. 

Don't forget that when Jesus first sent the twelve which included Judas Iscariot, they cast out demons etc. Judas also did some miracles but he could not receive the Holy Spirit so he perished.

But Paul said:

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:8 KJV)

It is therefore clear that anyone who preaches anything other than Paul and Peter is cursed. 

For example, Paul preached;

Let your women be silent and not to have authority over men,

The woman's hair is her covering so the woman must not cut their hair,

Water baptism must be done in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ

Baptism must be done IN water.

In all these, they say otherwise. If you don't say it like they did, the Bible says you are cursed.

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. (Romans 3:4 KJV)

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4 KJV)

You cannot live by some of the Word of God but by EVERY WORD of God. You will perish if you live by some of the Word and deny the others!

A CLOUD OF WITNESSES

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.- Heb 12:1

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. - Rev. 1:7

William Branham- Pillar of Fire

We are in the third exodus and just as He led His people with the Pillar of Fire by day and Pillar of Cloud by night, He is doing the same in this end-time. In the year 1963, He appeared in a cloud as a constellation of 7 angels visited William Branham and gave him the mysteries contained in the Book as promised in Revelation 10:7. 

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. 

God identified Himself with Prophet of the Lord by allowing the pillar of fire to be photographed with him on a number of times. See the above pictures for the pillar of fire on his shoulder and above his head.

As the angels were leaving, they formed the cloud below which a careful look, reveals the face of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Is it a coincidence that Apple has got the iCloud and cloud computing being the order of the day in this end time? Remember He will come with clouds. In my humble opinion, I think these are all pointing to His second coming.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. Rev 14:15
