THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES

The Seven Church Ages

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. (Revelation 1:7, 11 KJV)

Ephesus 117years - Paul
Smyrna 142year - Irenaeus
Pergamos 294years- Martin
Thyatira 914years- Columba
Sardis 230years- Martin Luther
Philadelphia 156years- John Wesley
Laodicea to date 107years (2013)- Elijah (Malachi 4)

A little study I have made on the seven church ages shows that the Thyatira age lasted longest - 914years and the first church age Ephesus) was the shortest besides the last church age (Laodicea) which will usher in the coming of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus made this statement referring to the last Church Age, Laodicea;

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24:22 KJV)

So far, up to this year (2013) we have had 107years of this last age. From Jesus' statement, I assume this age could be the shortest of all the ages.

It is therefore imperative that we get ourselves ready for the coming of the our Lord Jesus. Mind you, no man knows when He will come and He will come as a thief in the night. That will really take many people unaware. Many preachers will be left behind and they will continue to preach about repentance and the coming of The Lord when in fact, mercy is over and that "he that is holy will be holy still and he that is filthy will be filthy still.

Remember the 10 virgins. Five were wise and the other five were fools because they did not get oil (Holy Ghost) in their lamps. So the bridegroom came in the night when they were least expecting Him. You need the Holy Ghost before you die or before He comes. Otherwise, there is no hope for you.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3 KJV)

Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand!

JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER!

Hebrews 13:8 KJV
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

What good is a historical God who cannot change people's lives; who cannot heal the sick; who cannot solve problems?

I serve a present tense God whose name is The Lord Jesus Christ. He is the High Priest who can be touched by the feeling of infirmities. I have seen Him given children to two barren women, healed malaria instantly, healed a Muslim girl dying of an incurable disease. He told me the name of someone I have never met before whiles I was preaching to a group of people and everyone believed in The Lord Jesus. He revealed Himself to a group of unbelievers wanting to see the power of God when I said 'God is here right now and if He wants to do something for you to believe He will do it.' 8 people did believe in The Lord Jesus Christ right there.

He showed up when the driver side of the wiper broke when I was driving on the motorway and at the same time raining heavily. He stopped the rain in seconds when I prayed.

Many, countless miracles I have seen Him done in my own life.

All these were done in no other name like Father, Son and The Holy Ghost but in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ! Glory be to that powerful name. I will say this once again, you are powerless if you don't really know whom The Lord Jesus is. The devil knows what you can do to his kingdom if you get the revelation of whom Jesus is.  Jesus said "Upon this I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." So the devil will do all he can to deprive you of that!

'I am the Alpha and Omega.'
This means there is none before Him and there is no one after Him. He is The Lord God Almighty. The one and only God who manifested Himself to Moses as I am, appeared to Abraham as Melchisedeck,
came down as the Son of God and He is now living in His bride as the Comforter- the Holy Spirit. The One and the same God!

He said before Abraham was I am. He told Philip and the rest of the disciples "have I been so long with you and you don't know me?" When they asked Him to show them the Father. Before He was even born, Isaiah said this Son is the Father.

Can you not see this? He said "If you don't believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

IS JESUS DIFFERENT FROM THE FATHER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT?

IS JESUS DIFFERENT FROM THE FATHER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT?

1. The Word is Truth and the Spirit is Truth

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. (1 John 5:6 KJV)

Sanctify them through thy truth: THY WORD IS THRUTH. (John 17:17 KJV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1 KJV)
Verse 14 says and the Word which is God became flesh (Jesus).

The conclusion here is that God is the truth, the Word is the Truth and the Spirit is the truth. These three are one and the same.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7 KJV)

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (John 14:17 KJV)

Jesus said "The Spirit of truth dwells with you and shall be in you." He was referring to Himself who was with them and the Holy Spirit which shall be in them even He Himself.

2. The Spirit of God is His Word
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63 KJV)

By receiving EVERY word of God, you are receiving eternal life.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live (eternally) by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4 KJV)

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (John 15:26 KJV). In John 14:26 says the Father will send the Holy Spirit and John 15:26 says Jesus will send the Holy Spirit. So who will send the Holy Spirit? The answer is Jesus, God Himself will send the Holy Spirit.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13 KJV)
The Holy Spirit will guide you into all the truth (the Word). Therefore, if one has the Holy Spirit, he will not deny any Word.

3. Life
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24 KJV)

The Word of God is life. Jesus said the Father dwells in me and John 1 states that in Him was life. This indicates that the Father that is in Him is life and He also said the Word that I speak unto you is spirit and life. This therefore shows that the Father is The Word and He is the Spirit. And Jesus being the Word is also the Father.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 KJV)

This Son is the Mighty God and the Everlasting Father.

There are uncountable number of scriptures to prove that:
Jesus Christ= the Father
Jesus Christ = the Holy Spirit

4. Whose son was Jesus?
In many different places, Jesus Himself said God is His Father.

However in Matthew 1 the scripture tells us that the child was from the Holy Spirit.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 1:18 KJV)

In conclusion;
Jesus (the Son) = The Father = The Holy Spirit.

Here is the mystery of the Godhead.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Timothy 3:16 KJV)

ETERNAL LIFE

ETERNAL LIFE
Eternal means without beginning or ending. If you have eternal life, it means you have no beginning neither will you have an ending.

God chose us before He created the world and that we were in Him before the beginning of everything.

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (Ephesians 1:4 KJV)

You were in God before the foundation of the world. God asked Job where were you, When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Job 38:7 KJV)

God shows Job that the sons of God were with Him before the creation of everything. If you were with him before the beginning, you were there when he was creating the world. If you were not there from the beginning there is no way you can be with Him at the end. This means that you cannot accept the full Word (God) and that you cannot receive eternal life which is the Holy Spirit. When God gives you the Holy Spirit which is Himself that makes you eternal because God has no beginning nor ending.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:26, 27 KJV)

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (Romans 8:29, 30 KJV)

Jesus said "all that the Father has given me non of them will be lost."

JESUS WAS IN HEAVEN AT THE SAME TIME HE WAS ON EARTH

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (John 3:13 KJV)

This should answer those who usually ask the question; 'if Jesus is God, whom was He praying to at Gethsemane and at on the cross?'

He was standing there with Nicodemus and the rest of them but at same time, He said He is in heaven. Jesus is The Lord God Almighty!

Was It Apple or Sex? Video

So what brought about the fall of mankind?
What did Adam and Eve eat in the Garden of Eden?
Some say it was an apple, others say it was sex.
What is the evidence for it?

THE DEVIL IS A DECEIVER

THE DEVIL IS A DECEIVER

The devil knows how powerful the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is. That name does a lot of damage to the kingdom of Satan. Diseases are healed, demons flee, problems vanish at the mention of the name Lord Jesus Christ.

For that matter, he is taking that name from the lips of Christians by replacing it with titles of God- Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

He said "if you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14) So what about if you use titles instead of the name?

Please don't be deceived to believe that saying Father, Son and Holy Ghost is the same as saying Lord Jesus Christ. Father is just a title but not a name. For instance, I am a father, a son and at the same time a teacher. But I have a name and it it is Eric Arthur.

The disciples knew the name that is why they did everything in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ including baptism and not going against the instruction in Colossians 3:17- Whatever you do, do all in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Now people have been deceived and blinded by the devil so much that they are even willing die to defend the lie that God is in three persons when the Bible teaches that He is just one and not three in one.

No wander the Bible in Revelation 3 describes this generation (Laodicean) as naked and blind and don't even know it. They walk about naked and are so blinded to the truth of God.

Is God Three Persons in One?

IS THAT REAL?

The problems , the present circumstances, the wealth, the poverty etc; are they real? Real by definition means TRUE and truth does not change. So all that we are going through will pass away therefore they are not real.

Since the present situation is bound to change, that means it is not real.

So what is real? The only real thing we can lean on is Jesus. This is because he is the TRUTH. The reason is, He is the word and the word will never change. 'Heaven and earth shall pass away but the word will forever remain the same. Jesus is the true bread, the true vine because He is forever the same. This is why He rose from the grave and is alive forevermore. All the other false vine are dead and will die.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8 KJV)

The trials, the persecutions, distress, afflictions shall all pass away. These are coming your way to prepare you for eternity. Therefore 'what shall separate us from the love of God?'

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Romans 8:35 KJV)

Things that are true are rather things we don't see or touch. Those classes of people that the Bible describe as 'old things are passed away and behold all things are new,' they are the ones that are true because they have a part of God in their spirit and they will not pass away. They will live forever and ever and ever! They cannot be deceived in this deceptive age. Amen!

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (1 John 2:17 KJV)
